These days I call Louisville, KY home, but my journey has taken our family far beyond one zip code. We’ve lived or worked in Los Angeles, San Diego, New York City, Phoenix, London, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. Each of those seasons gave us the gift of experiencing different people and different ways of doing life together.
Those years shaped not only the way I lead, but the way I love. And, my family discovered how to stay rooted in our values while living in places where the world view, culture and culture were always changing.
Today, that perspective still guides the way I walk with my family—now spread across stages of life, and time zones. And I’m grateful for every place, church and person who helped shape the story God is still writing in us.
FAMILY
I'm blessed with an extraordinarily gifted wife! DJ is an insightful author, women's ministry mentor and pastor's wife, in addition to being a nurturing mother and fun-loving grandmother.
DJ and I are both so proud of our awesome married son, Pastor Scott and his terrific wife Carrie. We are equally proud of our incredible married daughter, Jenni and her remarkable husband Dr. Toby. These days we often find ourselves building memories with eight wonderful grandchildren who keep our lives vibrant and full of love.
In 2023 at our family reunion, Bob prayed an intergenerational blessing over the family and handed the baton of family leadership
to our son and son-in-law.
Regardless of family dynamics or stage of life, because God is faithful, it is always possible to set the direction of your family legacy for generations to come.
